done: a proof of concept prototype.

2 months:  Build my development work station (I've designed a desk, etc for
           this project)

6 months (mar 2001): a working development prototype.

1 year   (oct 2001): a working pre-release final hardware version (still
                     beta software)

shortly after:  Release-quality software for UHS, and a final first public
release of UHS and its OS.
