Strong Bad Email Secrets

Note: This is the original format of the secrets page.. after a bunch of complaints.. I changed it and made it awesome!

Burning Horizon's list of Strong Bad Email Secrets!

I started following Strong Bad recently on homestarrunner.com because he's so awesome.
(Also because my awesome friend Jason told me I would not be for awesome if I didn't, thanks Jason!)

I started noticing all the little secrets hidden in them, so I thought I'd try to keep track of them.
(Also my friend Per told me it would be for awesome, thanks Per!)
Some are more obvious than others, and may not be a 'secret' but I decided to track them anyway.
(I should mention one that is not listed here, the contrast knobs. They change the contrast on Strong Bad's screen.)

If you know of any secrets that I have not listed, or if you find a mistake - please let me know!
So far I have found about 72 secrets in the 62 Strong Bad emails that I have checked.
News: Since my page has been made somewhat available to the public I've heard comments that it's ugly. I knew this, and so today I'll be redeveloping it to look and work a little nicer, in the meantime if you have suggestions let me know.

1. Obvious You can click on the post-it note to hear it say differnt insults and such.

2. Not So Obvious On the second postcard, at the end of his speel you can click on the window and see Strong Bad be Strong Bad.

3. Not So Obvious On the fourth postcard, at the end of his speel you can click on the right-most headlight to see about the arts and crafts scene.

4. Not Obvious On the fifth postcard, While he is talking about his characiture, you can click on the postcard and see it.

1. Somewhat Obvious At the end of it, the screen will fade to the Tandy in the trash. You can click on the contrast buttons to see some funny last words.

2. No Idea The picture on the wall at Strong Sad's place is probably a reference to something funny, but I have no idea.

1. Somewhat Obvious At the end of this one you can click on the words, "guitars and lazor guns" to bring up Strong Bad with a guitar and a laser gun for hands.

2. Fairly Obvious Click on his "hands" for other various things.

#48 Ghosts

1. Obvious At the end of this one a "Bad Graphics Ghost" appears, you can mouse-over to eliminate the pieces.

2. Not Obvious If you manage to get all the pieces to be gone at the same time, Strong Sad will sing a song for you. Hint: just use the Tab/Enter Keys. (BTW, this crashes some browsers!?!)

#49 Theme Party
Description: description
Secrets:

1. Not Obvious You can click on the words "baseball hats" to see a nice college hat. Be quick the words don't stay up.

2. Not Obvious You can also click on the word "t-shirt" to see a funny college party t-shirt.

3. Somewhat Obvious At the end you can click on the words "skinny blonde girls" to have Strong Bad play his demo tape for you.

4. Obvious After the above song plays you can download the song for the pc or mac.

#50 50 Emails
Description: Strong Bad attempts to go through 50 emails.. BALEETED!
Secrets:

1. Not Really Obvious When Strong Bad types the word, "book" you can click on it and bring up a picture of Strong Bad's idea of this book idea.

2. Somewhat Obvious At the end, click on the "50th email cramma-lamma ding-dong" to see a funny "Olde Thyme" Strong Bad cartoon.

1. Obvious? Clicking on "Get On In!" when Strong Bad views The Cheat's flash intro on his machine will get you no where - it does nothing. Wait until you view his page to click on it.

2. Obvious You can view Strong Bad's web page at the end of this.

3. Somewhat Obvious The picture on the website titled, "long haired freaky cheat" will never load, it's not suppose to load. It's url is, "http://www.homestarrunner.com/sbsite/oh, just nothing"

4. Somewhat Obvious You will always be the 16th biggest moron ever.

Secrets:

1. Obvious At the end of this one you can click on Strong Bad and Homestar to make them turn into various things.

#53 Comic
Description: Teen Girl Squad! Issue #1 - Strong Bad's new hand drawn comic! (There is now an Issue #2!)
Secrets:

1. Not Obvious Right when Strong Bad reads, "I would really appriciate it" you can click on the names of the girls to bring up pictures of some States.

2. Hidden When the "Girls' States" appear - you can click on the tippy-top of each one to show it in it's underwear! (Remember the egg in Strong Bad #34)

3. Not Obvious When the Tombstones appear in Strong Bad's "Teen Girl Squad" comic you can click on the far right one to bring up a rather funny alternate ending.

4. Somewhat Obvious At the very end you can click on the words, "independent record store" to bring up a weird part showing the comic for sale in some record store. Funny banter going on in the background.

#54 Morning Routine
Description: Strong Bad explains his morning routine, and gets pestered about eggs.
Secrets:

1. Hidden! He hints to this, and at the end you can click on where it says "COMPY 386" to see some easter eggs.

#55 Cheat Talk

1. Not Obvious At the very end of this you can click on "you guys" to bring up a goofy cory ND postcard. (Somewhat like the one from Strong Bad email #40)

2. Somewhat Obvious At the very end of this you can also click on the words, "Learn How to Speak The Cheat" to get a sample from the LP.

#57 Japanese Cartoon
Description: Strong Bad explains what he's look like as a Japanese cartoon! (This is a Must See; Japanese cartoons are weird..)
Secrets:

1. Somewhat Obvious At the very end you can click on the words, "Japanese Cartoons" and see "Stinko Man 20X6"

2. Somewhat Obvious At the end of "Stinko Man 20x6" you can click on "Japanese Cartoons" again to see Homestar watching it.

3. Not as Obvious While or after homestar is watching the intro to Stino Man, you can click on the "NES Endings" video tape to see various ending to NES games.

4. Somewhat Obvious Once the NES Endings window opens you can click on it to show more.

Description: Can Strong Bad draw? Of course he can! TROGDOR!
Secrets:

1. Hidden When you see Strong Mad, click on his "R" for an optional part with "Homsar"

#59 Marzipan

1. Somewhat Obvious At the very end you can click on the text in the popup window that says, "video for a client" to see The Cheat's "Marzipan" video.

#60 Huttah!
Description: The Cheat gets a bit jealous of Strong Bad's emails.
Secrets:

1. Somewhat Obvious At the very end while Strong Bad is watching "Take-a-break.exe" you can click on the bird to download the "take-a-break.exe" for Windows or Mac. FYI: take-a-break.exe has no hidden stuff!

#61 Monster Truck
Description: Strong Bad does the voice-over for the commercial for his Monster Truck show!
Secrets:

1. Fairly Obvious At the very end you can click on the first "sunday" to bring up a flyer advertisment for the show.

2. Fairly Obvious - Updated! The second Sunday now opens a cool game! The game has a funny win screen if you score perfectly - can't die at all and must get all cash, it's possible I've done it. :) (2500 points).

3. Fairly Obvious You can click on the "Someday" to see an autographed Limozeen picture, whoo-hoo!

#62 Interview
Description: Strong Bad gets asked to interview Homsar, what a terrible thing to ask of Strong Bad!
Secrets:

1. Somewhat Obvious Once Strong Bad starts typing and the name Kerrak comes up you can click on it and bring up a StrongBad drawing of Trogdor smoting Kerrak.

2. Fairly Obvious Click on Strong Bad's pen-postit puppets to see a few different versions - you can do this for the remainder of this one, when you see them.

3. Somewhat Obvious Once you see Homsar, you can click on the light switches for some cool light effects, like in Strong Bad Email #45.

4. Somewhat Obvious Wait a while before clicking on anything more once you see Strong Bad salting his leg. The Cheat will come and offer him a drink.

5. Not Completely Obvious After The Cheat goes away (or even before he shows up) you can click on the Homsar pen puppet to bring up a funny Homsar start page.

'Yeah? well someone on eBay loves me.'
