Btw, I have a tiny little question: What is the sirius equivalent of:
lda #<(INPACKET+$1c)

It's probably not "lda #<INPACKET+$1c / ldx #>INPACKET", btw, since that
will fail horribly if INPACKET is near a page boundary - although, to its
credit, that does compile, and for now that's what I've substituted in, I am
100% sure that it is going to bite me at some point in the very near future.
(if INPACKET is, say, $3fff, <INPACKET is $ff, and <INPACKET+$1c = $1b, but
>INPACKET is still $3f, giving an incorrect result of $3f1b instead of $401b)
