 Contest Comments

"Excellent competition this year, many solid entries. Congratulations to everyone who submitted a game." -- Csabo.

"Thanks once again to all who submitted, voted, and especially those who sponsored platforms! U rul3!" -- Wyndex.

"Some great games again this year. Thanks to everyone who organised and participated. See you again next year! " -- Jonathan.

"Good compo, as usual. But I wont to say to all the coders (and myself too) to ALWAYS add the most complete guide of how to made the game run in the (proposed) emulator.Probably you know how to make run the program (like load "*",8 in a C64 emulator), but who vote and did not know your system, could not be able to run your game. Yes, there is the board for ask, but there is always little free time and you could go off of time like me.Sorry for all the games that I was not able to rate.See you at the next compo.... " -- ice00.

"Can you use xtod on all the instructions/ReadMe files next year. It's annoying not being able to read them with Notepad. Also, I still think there should be a zero vote." -- Executioner.

"IMO the submissions are better on average than last year. Keeping the categories identical shows. Especially there are much less very weak ones. Oric did surprisingly well this time, C64 was a bit disappointing. Generally the "weaker" platforms (2600, Oric, VIC, Apple) seem to have used their potential better than the "stronger" ones (C64, CPC, NES). Finally: Great competition! Many thanks to the organizers and sponsors!" -- tjentzsch.

"Thanks to the orgainizers, and all the people who submitted games. It was fun judging all the Atari games. ;)" -- TROGDOR.

"Unfortunately a lack of time (and also imagination) meant that I was unable to write an entry for this year's competition, and I didn't get time to review a number of the games as well. Despite a lack of publicity in the early stages, I'm pleased to see that the number of entries is comparable to previous years. Hopefully I can write an entry for next year's competition!" -- nich.

"I think the 1K and 4K categories works well." -- gest.

"I'm really sorry of this, but this year I was not able to test all games." -- Dbug.

"I have never submitted a game in this competition but I recognize as a programmer that these guys being able to program within such a small constraint are true champions and artists." -- Anara.

"I hope even more Coleco games will be submited next year. :) " -- newcoleco.

"Thanks Steve for these two years of management." -- pieffe.

"Thanks for all the hardwork!!!! But in the future, please have system organizers make it crystal clear what documentation goes with what game! (esp Atari 2600)" -- kirkjerk.

"Amazing number of High Quality entries this year. Good luck to everyone!" -- manuel_rotschkar.

"As always, the competition ruled. I'd like to strongly suggest that the future compo's organizers keep the 1K and 4K categories, as these are the best IMHO. My sincere congratulations to everyone for their work ! See you next time..." -- GOC.
